Guest Artist
Sarah works in paper – producing intricate papercuts and artist’s books. She uses half-remembered lines of songs, stories and poems so that text often forms an integral part of her pieces, as well as drawing inspiration from the rural landscape in which she lives and works. In her practice she spans Art and Craft, bringing in traditional craft processes such as bookbinding and papercutting, as well as stitch and print, underpinned with a conceptual approach. Much of her work is inspired by a single film to which she returns over and over, exploring the characters, cinematography, script and structure through book forms and installation work.
